Beth Hart

Beth Hart, a Los Angeles native who is a blues-styled vocalist and former street performer. In 1995 she debuted in the music industry with Immortal. Her outspoken nature and gifted musicianship attracted attention, as well as her expressive live performances and voice that was likened to Janis Joplin. Chuck Taylor, Billboard's October 2, 1999 issue, said that Hart is "the perfect example of a natural woman," and that she was "bawdy and funny, chatty and witty with her selection of spicy languages, and free-wheeling." But that's not the real thing about her. She's a tall, graceful and graceful singer/songwriter who struts and squalls songs with the enthusiasm and vim of Mick Jagger . Other times , she's at the piano or center stage without any pretension. The legs of her are crossed over the back of a chair and she talks with a soft, painful voice. Hart was a young woman who took part in amateur contests and experienced similar reactions. But she still had doubts about the music industry at the time she began the professional path.
