Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding - born Elena Jane Goulding (30 December 1986) in Hereford (England), is an English musician and singer. Ellie Goulding dominated the UK charts in 2010 thanks to her catchy electronic pop tracks "Starry Eyed" and Guns and Horses. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding stands at the top of the movement, just like Kate Bush and Imogen Sheap of contemporary mainstream music, and independent, arty pop. Her soprano voice and ability to write emotionally authentic songs are what make her stand out. Polydor Records eventually signed Goulding to a contract. The album she released was set to release.
