Ali MacGraw

Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American actress, model, writer as well as an animal rights activist. She has been acclaimed for films like Love Story (from 1970), Goodbye Columbus, (1969), and The Getaway, (1972). New York was her home and she was raised in a creative environment. After working as assistant to photographers then she turned her attention towards modeling and acting. Her first two movies she received recognition as a winner of an award called the Golden Globe Award as Most promising young actress. Her film MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was a huge hit that brought fame to the world and also as an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. Within three years she had been voted as the top female box office participant in the entire world. The Grauman's Chinese Theater engraved her autograph as well as foot prints, hand prints, and footprints in 1972. The actress has appeared in a variety of other movies, including The Getaway Convoy Players and TV miniseries The Winds of War among other. Moving Pictures, her 1991 autobiography, was released. MacGraw was married three times.
